Monkey birthday cake - Buttercream Covering

Cute little monkey with display of stars.  The cake is covered in buttercream which does not give a smooth finish but still delicious.   The cake could also be made with a fondant covering.

All figures are made from Fondant and made by hand.  You can even decorate a mini princess for this cake.

StarGate Birthday Cake (SG1)

This was made for my Dad who loves Stargate.  I made it look as though he had been drinking and accidently fell through the star gate.  Since he works in trades I included a builders bum to personalise it a little more.

Perfect for the man in any trade ie plumber, electrician etc. You can make different tools to suit the job.

The second cake shows the hammer with plastic underneath to support it during transit just to make sure that with the movement it doesnt become loose.
